We Appreciate All Your Help

Every year, thousands of Tanzanians—especially sickle cell patients, mothers, and accident victims—need blood to survive. But we can’t do it alone. By partnering with the Bone and Blood Foundation, your organization will directly contribute to a sustainable blood supply chain and healthier communities.

What We Do at Bone and Blood Foundation:

We bridge gaps in blood supply—especially for sickle cell patients, mothers, and emergency cases.

Our core areas of work include:

  • Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization

We organize regular blood drives in schools, communities, and workplaces to ensure safe and sufficient blood supply, particularly for SCD patients, mothers with birth complications, and emergency cases.

  • Sickle Cell Disease Awareness and Screening

We educate the public about SCD through campaigns, workshops, and media, and provide free or low-cost screening services to promote early diagnosis and better disease management.

  • Support for Patients and Families
BBF provides comprehensive support to sickle cell patients and their families, addressing medical, emotional, and socioeconomic challenges
